Meet Our Founder
In addition to her professional competence, Shikha has extensive experience serving in a variety of leadership capacities within the healthcare community, each of which has had a distinct scope and level of responsibility.
At the moment, she is acting in the roles of President of the Charlotte Metro Area Chapter of the Society of Hospital Medicine, member of the Practice Management Committee of the Society of Hospital Medicine, Co-Chair of the HCM/MHA Board of Advisors at Appalachian State University, and a member of the Ethics Committee at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She has also been awarded the Fellow in Hospital Medicine (FHM) designation from the Society of Hospital Medicine. Those individuals who have demonstrated a devotion to the fields of hospital medicine, system change, and quality improvement principles are eligible to receive the FHM designation.
The usage of artificial intelligence within the area of medicine is one of the things that piques her interest and passion. So, in 2021, she completed the Online Professional Certificate Program for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare that was provided by the MIT Sloan School of Management. This has given her a deeper understanding of the potential of AI in healthcare and how to apply it in practice. The knowledge and skills she gained from MIT inspired her to start NeuralNet Healthcare and provide expert AI solutions to healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes and optimize their operations.
